1. Where is the CS Lab located?
The CS Lab is located on the second floor of the Koch Center, room 265. It is within the immediate vicinity of the EECS Departmental Office.
2. What are the hours of the CS Lab?
The CS Lab is generally open every day of the week. Students who are involved in CS programming classes are placed on a list that is given to security, verifying that they are allowed to be in the Koch Center after regular hours of operation. If the outer doors to the Koch Center are closed, please call security and mention that you are on the list, and they will assist you with entering the building.
3. There is a number lock on the door, and I don't know the combination. How do I get in?
The CS Lab cypher lock number is stored on csserver.evansville.edu's message of the day. If you have an account on csserver, you will see this when you log in. If you have hushed the login, the file is stored as /etc/motd.
4. What if I have a question about the CS Lab?
There are three assistants to help you with the CS Lab, available at various hours of the week. A schedule is posted outside the CS Lab and is also located from the worker availability link located at the main page.
5. What if I don't have an account on csserver?
If you do not already have an account on csserver, but feel that you have a just reason for needing one, please contact either the lab assistants or Dr. Tony Richardson located in KC-261 for assistance.
6. I forgot my password on csserver, what do I do?
Lab assistants will be happy to reset your password on csserver. Please see the lab worker schedule for availability of lab workers who can assist you with this.
