2002 LEGO 101 Tournament Results

Preliminary rounds were held December 2 & 4. Teams ran the track alone and were allowed to run the track as many times as they wished. Seeds for Round 1 of the finals were determined by the highest accumulated points for one run. Teams making attempt during preliminary rounds were seeded ahead of teams that did not make any attempts.

Finals were held December 6 (Round 1) & 9 (rest of the rounds). See the gallery page for pictures from the tournament.

Round 1

There were 13 teams, so the top three teams received byes, but were allowed to run unopposed. Teams that started, but did not hit any beacons were awarded 5 points. In one case, both teams started, but did not hit any beacons, so the judges awarded the win to the team that was closest to a beacon at the end of the match. Match 3 was rerun the second day due to a misconfigured controller board.
